Bar Billiard Table Score Board Pear Drop (June 2022)

Needed a spare pear drop score board marker. These are no longer available to buy so I decided to make one.

I initially modelled one in 3D CAD but it looked far to neat and symmetrical so I thought it would look out of place next to an original part.

To get round this I 3D scanned an original part and reverse engineered it.

The 3D scan was used to produce the CNC machining program (gcode) for just the outside profile.

The dovetail was hacksawed and filed by hand.

Once machined the part was media blasted to remove machining marks.

Dovetail slot was hack sawed and filed to shape.

Outside was filed and finished with emery cloth to get a more natural and matching appearance
